It is positioned in the heart of a vast granite plateau and on the southern border of the National Livradois Forest Park. Directions

To reach St Andre de Chalencon from St Etienne, follow the signs directing you to Le Puy en Velay. Take the exit at Bas en Basset and continue on this road until you are close to Retournac. After passing through the village of Jussac, you will come across a right turn marked Craponne. Take this turn and continue for approximately 5 minutes. After a hamlet called La Baraque, you will encounter a crossroads. Turn right at this crossroads to proceed towards St Andre de Chalencon.

As you approach St Andre from the Laberte river hill, there will be a left turn with a sign indicating STADE. Take this turn and immediately at the T junction, turn left. This will lead you into Chazelles, where you will notice a large wall of the annex straight ahead on your left. Just after this building, you will find green iron entrance gates. If they are closed, please ring the bell located on the left side of the gates, and we will gladly open them for you.
