Description:

Description for B&B:

Located on the main street of a picturesque village, this house has undergone an impressive restoration. Originally built in 1785 as the wine cellars of Thénacuries and the barracks of Napoleon, it boasts a park that was once considered the most beautiful in Europe. In the intervening years, the property was acquired by pineau and cognac wine growers who used it to store their barrels, but no renovations were done for over 90 years. However, after more than a year of intensive restoration, the house has been brought back to its former glory and charm.

We wanted to share this exceptional heritage with you by creating comfortable and welcoming lodgings and spacious rooms. The interiors combine the elegance of antique furniture with the authenticity of the stone walls. We also offer longer-stay accommodations for those looking to explore our beautiful region and all its treasures. Our stables have been restored and refurbished to provide a pleasant and authentic setting, complete with a traditional "Hurdy-gurdy France" hood, overlooking the fountain where you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun.
