The city of Jonzac Montendre is conveniently located near historical sites and sandy beaches. Both cities offer a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. Additionally, the beaches of Royan, St George Didonne, Angouleme, Cognac, Saintes, Pons, Meschers, Talmont, Royan, and Bordeaux are all less than an hour away.We warmly welcome you to Domaine for any occasion, whether it be a family reunion, stage performance, party, birthday, or wedding. The village hall is at your disposal and provides the perfect space for gatherings.
Sunflowers Cottage can accommodate up to 12 people and offers a spacious living room with a TV, DVD player, and fireplace for cozy winter evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. There are 4 bedrooms, including one on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The cottage also features a large bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground floor and a bathroom with a bath on the upper floor. Additionally, there are two toilets, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The weekly price varies depending on the season, with rates ranging from 900 in low season to 1900 in high season.
Le Petit Chai Cottage can accommodate 5 to 6 people and is a converted wine store. It offers a cozy living room with a TV, DVD player, and fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with three single beds. There is also a possibility for an extra bed using the sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, and there is a separate toilet. Amenities include a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. The weekly price ranges from 600 in low season to 1000 in high season.
In addition to the cottages, we also offer two charming guest rooms called Clelia and Le Boudoir. These rooms are located on the first floor of the main house. We also provide a host table upon reservation, where you can enjoy delicious meals made with fresh ingredients from our garden.
As our guest, you will have free access to the garden, a fenced-off swimming pool measuring 12 meters by 6, an indoor games room with table tennis, darts, pinball, billiards, and fitness equipment. We also have outdoor badminton and various games for children. Bikes for adults and children are available, as well as golf clubs if you wish to play golf in Montendre. The nearby tennis court and boules are also free to use. For those interested in fishing, hiking, lakes, kayaking, or spa treatments, these activities are conveniently located near our property.
We are happy to accommodate pets in the cottages.

Chaunac is situated approximately 10 km from Jonzac and Montendre, 60 km from Angoulême, and 50 km from Bordeaux (40 minutes).
By car:
To reach Chaunac by car from Bordeaux to Angoulême, follow the A10 towards Paris and take exit 39B (Angoulême). Continue on the RN10 and take the exit for Montlieu-La-Garde, following the signs for Montendre. If coming from Paris, take the A10 towards Poitiers South, then take the RN10 towards Angoulême. Exit at Montlieu-La-Garde and follow the signs for Montendre. If coming from the west, take exit 37 (Mirambeau) on the A10 and follow the D730 towards Montendre.
By train:
The nearest train station is Montendre, which is 10 km away. The Atlantic TGV also stops at Bordeaux and Angoulême, where car hire is available. There is also the option to reach Jonzac or Montendre by TER train.
By plane:
Bordeaux-Merignac Airport is located 55 km away (45 minutes).
